Dehumidifier - This refers to dehumidification of enclosed environments such as rooms, however it is unable to reach specific humidity levels for object storage. Humidity will rapidly rise up once the machine ceases to operate causing secondary humidity hazard; what is also involved is power consumption, the need for water disposal and the inability of continual dehumidification.
Air Conditioning - This is often used in large-space dehumidification to solve the humidity hazard of objects, but is often turned off after working hours for energy conservation due to its massive consumption of electricity. Such an act, however, lets the objects in the space, incur moisture condensation and counter-humidity resulting in even more severe humidity hazard. Besides that, the dehumidification range is around 60% RH, this cannot completely solve the low-humidity storage problem of objects.
Refrigeration - This approach has low-temperature dehydration function, but the incurred temperature variation as objects are taken out of refrigeration causes severe counter-humidity – objects usually have a layer of moisture on them.
Use of desiccant, Silica Gel, Calcium Oxide, Sodium and silicate... etc
This is a simple approach to dehumidification but with limited effect; also, it has issues relating to, continuous recurring costs, environmental protection, safety, consumption, environmental burden, et al.
